We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to serve as the operational backbone of our supply chain in our Huntington Station office. This role requires a unique blend of logistical precision, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of purchase orders and software licensing with collaborative problem-solving to resolve vendor discrepancies.

Responsibilities in this Role
  • Departmental Liaison- daily interaction with Sales, Pricing, Warehouse, Field Technicians, and Technical Support to ensure everyone has the tools they need.
  • Own the full lifecycle of purchase orders, from initial requisition to verifying vendor invoices and credits.
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of software orders and licensing certificates with high attention to detail.
  • Contact suppliers to expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, missed shipments, or invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain real-time accuracy in our tracking systems for all contracts and deliveries.
  • Support the department with unique procurement challenges as the business evolves.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a completionist mindset—you don't leave tasks half-finished.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • SAP B1 experience is a significant plus.
  • The ability to communicate professionally with external vendors and internal stakeholders alike.
  • A proactive attitude and the capacity to adapt quickly in an evolving environment.

  • Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 (Commensurate with experience)
