We are looking for an experienced, "human-first" Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team part-time in our Huntington Station Office Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, you will own the talent acquisition process from end-to-end. At Teq, we don't just fill requisitions; we build the teams that empower the next generation of learners. You will be responsible for finding high-quality, passionate talent for a variety of roles.

This is an on-site position based in our Huntington Station, NY office.

Responsibilities in this role:
  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from drafting job descriptions and sourcing to offer negotiations and onboarding.
  • Utilize proactive methods to attract a diverse pool of candidates, focusing on quality and cultural alignment.
  • Serve as the primary contact for candidates, ensuring an authentic and professional experience that reflects our "human-first" brand.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads to understand their unique needs and provide data-driven updates on the talent market.
  • Maintain our ATS with high attention to detail and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a seamless transition into the Teq Team.
  • Act as a versatile resource for the HR department, assisting with special projects, administrative audits, or employee engagement initiatives as needed to support the overall health of the Teq workforce.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
  • 5+ years of full-cycle mutli-stateTalent Acquisition experience (in-house experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Foundational knowledge of multi-state and federal employment laws.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write engaging, authentic candidate correspondence.
  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for the education sector.


What We Offer
  • Compensation range $35.00 – $42.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).
  • Schedule Flexibility up to 28 hours per week- While our standard office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., we offer flexibility in how your hours are scheduled within that window to best accommodate your needs and our current hiring volume.
